DIY Repurposed Drawer Ideas

Hi Everyone!

This week I posted a few photos on my Instagram of a repurposed drawer that I had found. Screen Shot 2016-05-14 at 2.21.28 PMI played around with this little drawer and came up with 3 ways to style it in my home. With that said, there are numerous ways to style this little piece, these are just some of my favorite. And as for the drawer, I just gave it a quick sand and left it looking rustic.

The first way I displayed this drawer was as a ‘bedside catch all’. For this idea I just added all the items that Mike had sitting on his nightstand and put them neatly into the drawer. The drawer helps hide Mike’s clutter and displays the décor in a simple but organized way.

The second way I displayed the drawer was in my bookshelf. I used the drawer as a ‘Book Stopper’ and placed some books on either sides of the drawer and added a few décor items into the drawer. This is a unique way to add more texture and function to your simple bookshelf.

And the final and my favorite way I displayed this little drawer was into a ‘DIY Liquor Screen Shot 2016-05-14 at 2.21.09 PMTray’. I loved how this turned out! For this I just added my favorite champagne, some champagne glasses, a martini shaker, 3 bottles of liquor, some shot glasses, a faux plant and some cute straws. This is such a cute idea to display your liquor at your home or at a party if you don’t already have a bar cart or liquor cabinet.

I hope you guys enjoyed these repurposed drawer ideas and that it gives you inspiration before chucking out old dressers or end tables that have perfectly good drawers in them.

Thank you so much for stopping by my little blog today!
