As promised, here are 3 options for ‘Grown-up Easter Baskets’. I also added a doggy version.

To do these baskets you’re going to need some type of basket to place everything in. I got my little basket/bags at Homesense for $4. However, the dollar store has tons of cute little baskets to choose from.Screen Shot 2016-03-25 at 10.14.02 AM

To fill the baskets, it’s just like filling a stocking. You’re going to need lots of chocolate and cheap items that are necessary for that individual. For my boyfriend, I got him a pale blue t-shirt, 3 hand sanitizers (he loves them) and some craft beer, which is also his favorite. I then added mini eggs, Lindor eggs and a chocolate bunny. This was rather cheap and easy to do. In total it cost around $25.

For a girlfriend I used the following items to fill the basket. I used a scented candle, bottle of wine, hand soap, a decorative (cheap) necklace, a lipstick, 2 pairs of socks and some mini eggs. Again, this was relatively cheap to do. In total this cost $35.

And finally, for a dog I filled the basket with the following items. I used a dog chew toy, some rawhide bones and a bow tie for their collar. In total this cost $20.

These Easter baskets can be one stop purchases at Wal-Mart, Super Store, Shoppers Drug Mart or the Dollar Store. They are super easy and fun to do!

Hope you all enjoyed these baskets and that they inspire you to make you’re own this Easter.

Happy Easter Everyone!
