Happy Spring & Almost Easter Everyone!
Today I’m going to chat about Easter décor and what I usually do for decorations in my home. Also, later this week I’m going to put together a “Grown-up Easter Basket” for both, girls and boys! This way you have some ideas on what to get your boyfriend or girlfriend for Easter.
Okay, so putting together spring and Easter décor is relatively easy and cheap. The dollar store has tons of good stuff for every holiday, so make that your first stop. For my décor, I usually grab whatever pastel looking items that I have lying around and go from there. This year, I used blue, green and pink mason jars as a centerpiece. I then added some pale pink tulips that Mike got me. Next, I purchased some plastic Easter eggs from the dollar store; I put these faux colorful eggs in some vases and placed them around the house. Following, I added some faux plants. This immediately gives out spring vibes and goes well with all décor pieces. And lastly, I just put all these items together and placed them around the house until I created a fun Spring/Easter theme.
SIGNS! All the signs that I used in the Easter décor were personally hand-painted by my mom and will be available to buy at the Aurora Market Street Festival on June 5th! For more information check out the Stone House Burgundy Door Tab above.
Thanks for reading & enjoy your weekend!
